Waipu Bowling Club has been leading the growth and development of bowls in the Waipu community for over 105 years. The club features what is recognised as the best grass green in Northland.

New members are always welcome, whether you are a serious bowler, social player, or non-playing member interested in being part of the club's community.

The outdoor summer lawn bowls season typically opens in mid-September. We host numerous Domestic and Open tournaments throughout the year with regular roll-ups (Sept - Apr) on Wednesdays at 9:00am and Saturdays 12.30pm. Winter roll-ups (May - Aug) are on Sundays at 1.00pm. Opening day for the 2024 summer season is Sunday, 13th September, at 1:30pm. All welcome.
