Point Timber was established in October 2011 and now occupies a large corner site on Marsden Point Road, Ruakākā. Owned and operated by Steve and Liz Clayden, the business supplies timber products, roundwood, plywood and associated hardware.

Stocklines include a wide range of timber, from lower-grade wood for DIY projects to verified framing for building projects. Timber is milled from Northern forestry resources, providing high-density fibre for stable, strong wood. The business caters to home handymen, builders, contractors, rural block owners and farmers.

Steve brings over 40 years of experience in sawmilling and timber processing, while Liz has extensive expertise in timber treatment. The team offers knowledgeable service and will source materials not currently in stock or make custom solutions. A loan trailer has been available at the yard since 2013 for customers without transport.
